Duffy and his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, have been married for 27 years. The two share nine children.
Together from 2021 to 2024, they hosted Fox Nation’s “From the Kitchen Table: The Duffys,” where they discussed current political and pop culture events.
The couple appeared on “The Katie Miller Podcast,” where Rachel made a wild confession about how her husband got his role.
“He said he wanted to serve the president in any way,” Campos-Duffy said with a sarcastic look on her face. “He ended up in transportation because that was all that’s left.”
Duffy seemed stunned by her explanation as he stuttered and rambled before getting a thought out.
The awkward moment mirrored a 2024 clip that resurfaced on social media this week.
In episode 36 of season 4, “Can Sydney Sweeney Save America From Going Woke?” the Duffys discussed responses to right-wing pundit Richard Hanania’s then-viral “Wokeness is dead” tweet.
Hanania shared the message along with a photo of actress Sydney Sweeney from her appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”

Sweeney, known for spotlighting her figure with her wardrobe, previously starred in the HBO series “Euphoria” as Cassie.
Campos-Duffy essentially asked for her husband’s take on the matter.
Duffy explained that the actress was basically the antithesis to gender fluidity and everything the left pushes regarding gender and sexuality.
“Men appreciate women, and men that appreciate women are not toxic,” Duffy began. “God made us a certain way to appreciate and want to mate with a woman, and women are made the same way to be with a man. And I think Sydney Sweeney is just a reminder that men are still men. … And women are still women, and that’s OK.”
Duffy further claimed Sweeney would end climate change discussions by urging men to abandon online affairs. He said Sweeney would push them to meet women in real life and procreate, another act he alleges the left opposes.
He said, “Sydney Sweeney’s boobs make us want to reproduce. Right? Sydney Sweeney’s boobs are going to save America.” Campos-Duffy laughed at her husband’s candor, but viewers suspect her giddiness was a performance.

“His poor wife is so uncomfortable. Talk about being disrespectful of your marriage,” a viewer on IG Threads wrote. Someone else remarked, “And she laughs. She deserves him.”
On X, a user tweeted, “Disgusting behavior by a cabinet member. Sean Duffy, pull your head out of your a– and stop objectifying women.”
A second tweet read, “His children must be so embarrassed of him. I feel really bad for them.”
A fifth commenter stated, “Trump administration is the most unqualified incompetent administration in history.” “They all still think they are on a reality show,” a sixth detractor quipped.
Trump, of course, became a household name through his competition show “The Apprentice,” which turned his business persona into prime-time entertainment.
Meanwhile, Duffy has a history on MTV’s “The Real World: Boston.” In 1997, Duffy was a rowdy, conservative 25-year-old aspiring lawyer. He later met his wife on the spin-off show, “Road Rules: All Stars.”
Like Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Duffy also came from Fox News before Trump handpicked him for his second administration.
