Either people’s eyes are playing tricks on them, or there is something truly bizarre about the appearance of Donald Trump and his children.
A new batch of candid photos taken around the White House has social media users overlooking the destruction of the historical residence and zooming in on members of the first family.
The president’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, and their families were among the Washington crowd.
After attending the first IndyCar race earlier this week, Don Jr. shared a recap of the day on Instagram.
He shared photos of himself, his kids, his new wife, Bettina Anderson, and brother Eric Trump, and fans. Siblings Ivanka, Tiffany, and Barron Trump were not present.
“Great day with the kids and The President at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. An amazing day of racing in the Capital. Blessed to be able to see these things up close,” read Don’s caption.
Critics witnessed one of the Trump administration’s fibs unraveling up close.
A photo of the president posing with each son on either side makes onlookers do a double take. Eric wore a light blue suit, while his father wore a dark navy blue suit.
Don. Jr. was the odd man out wearing a tan suit, but that wasn’t the most bizarre detail of the photo.

One bewildered IG Threads user reshared the snapshot and asked, “Why is Don Jr taller than his dad in this picture? The White House said that the president is 6’3″. Don Jr is 6’1.”
Trump also claims to weigh 238. That’s about 70 lbs low.
One critic disputed Trump’s claimed height, writing, “Because Donald Trump is not 6 foot three. He’s not even 6 foot one. Trump has been lying about his height and weight for a long time, both to avoid being labeled as obese, and to pretend he’s taller than Barack Obama.”
The critic pointed to Trump’s past appearances alongside Obama, arguing that Trump looked noticeably shorter when they stood together.
“Trump was noticeably shorter when standing shoulder to shoulder with Barack Obama. His fragile ego can’t take it,” they continued.
Claims that Trump used lifts in his shoes to make himself look taller also surfaced, adding that his current health issues could make that more difficult.

In May, the former reality star’s medical report described him as 6 feet 3 and 238 pounds.
Eagle-eyed detractors have never accepted the claim as fact, with several pointing out that Trump consistently stands shorter than most men he should tower over.
“Must be your eyes? Or mine? Maybe it’s the measuring stick. Can’t possibly be lies,” read a response.
The sight grew stranger when others noticed the uncanny stance that Trump and his kids, daughter Ivanka included, share. They each pose with their arms dangling at their sides, their feet close together, and their torso slightly leaned forward.
“None them even know how to stand like a normal humanbeing,” and “They all stand a very strange way,” read two reactions.
Someone else quipped, “You can tell who is Donny’s favorite son now,” although it’s impossible to decipher which son the sarcastic comment was referring to.
Some would argue it’s Eric, considering that he has taken on a prominent role in The Trump Organization.
However, plenty of people also remember that he has often been overlooked and, at times, forgotten.
Eric continues to portray himself as a staunch supporter of his father. He made sure to defend his dad’s work relationship with executive assistant Natalie Harp.
Rumors suggest she is either his health care aide or romantic partner. Her official duties include drafting social media posts for the president at all hours of the day and staying close by his side.
“She’s deeply committed to my father, to her job, and to this country. From the looks of it, she got all the family genetics,” Eric tweeted in response to a salacious tweet about his dad and Harp.
Don Jr. is his father’s namesake, but even he falls low on the totem pole. Trump skipped his eldest son’s wedding to Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite, over Memorial Day weekend. Detractors dredged up a father-son rift dating back to 1990 in their pile-ons.
The most blistering commentary on the photo was people accusing Don Jr. of paying homage to former President Barack Obama by wearing a tan suit.
A snappy tweet stated, “Unlike Obama’s tan suit, it’s poorly tailored and Jr. doesn’t have the body or posture to pull it off. Ewww.”
Obama famously wore a similar suit in 2014.
