Regular trips to his various courses have become commonplace since his return to the executive residence in January 2025.
He was last seen at his Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., on Saturday, Aug. 22, accompanied by his “human printer,” Natalie Harp.
More often than not, Trump’s love for the sport has also made him a social media spectacle for all the wrong reasons.
From bragging about winning golf championships on his own turf to dragging his leg around the fairway, critics have plenty of footage to pick apart.
The president’s carefully curated aesthetic — slacks, a polo, a Trump-branded hat, and golf shoes — makes him look like a seasoned competitor.
However, leaked footage of his caddies moving golf balls to the cup and speculation about his declining health undercut the narrative.
Now, former President Barack Obama is steamrolling Trump’s command as the nation’s top golfer-in-chief. And he did so effortlessly.
Footage of the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the greens surfaced, highlighting the stark contrast between the two politicians.
Obama was in Martha’s Vineyard with passersby who noticed him walking from hole to hole. He wore shorts, a polo shirt, a ball cap, sneakers-style golf shoes, and sunglasses.

Unlike Trump, Obama did not meander in a zig-zag stride. He strutted in a straight line, waving and smiling at those who watched from the nearby clubhouse.
Obama reportedly teed off at the Vineyard Golf Club on his birthday, Aug. 4. The former president and his family own a sprawling oceanfront estate on the island getaway.
Other high-profile figures spotted on the links that weekend included NBA Champions Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.

This summer’s Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival drew an impressive lineup of talent, including Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter, actors Courtney B. Vance and Glynn Turman, “The Best Man” filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee, and Destiny’s Child alum LeToya Luckett.
An IG Threads user viewed the clip and then remarked, “Notice how slim and trim he is and how quickly he can walk.” A response read, “And doesn’t have to watch his feet, or have someone hold his hand.”

Hecklers are convinced Trump can only walk in a straight line when he has someone by his side, or on the rare occasion his wife, Melania Trump, joins him for an appearance, allowing him to grab hold of her hand.
A third spectator alluded to Trump’s aide Natalie Harp when they commented, “He doesn’t have a woman half his age following him around? What kind of a president is he?”
The 32-year-old assistant carries an oversized bag at all times and has become the president’s staple travel companion.
A fourth person could not resist quipping that Obama’s easygoing stride would cause his successor to have a meltdown. They wrote, “Trump’s crying on the sidelines.”

Trump is undeniably huskier than Obama in the photos.
The Republican’s May health report lists him at 238 pounds and 6 feet 3 inches tall. By comparison, the Democrat’s reported weight ranges from 175 to 181 pounds, while his height is listed at 6 feet 1 inch.
Last year, Trump bragged that former White House physician Ronny Jackson was asked which president was the “healthiest of all.” According to Trump, Jackson declared, “Trump was by far the healthiest.”
The former physician served during Obama’s second term (2013 to 2017) and during Trump’s first term (2017 to 2021).
