As the week comes to an end, Irv Gotti has found himself in yet another controversy, this time including Bow Wow and Joie Chavis‘ daughter, Shai Moss.
This all began after the Murder Inc. founder attempted to contact Moss for a film opportunity during the summer. Gotti decided to comment on the 11-year-old’s Instagram post, which featured a photo with her father, Bow Wow, after failing to reach her parents.
Without disclosing any information about the project, he wrote back in July, “@_shaimoss hey Shai. I tried to reach out to your mom and dad. I am interested in casting you in my movie I’m shooting. Let your mom or dad know to get in touch with me. It’s a perfect role for you. Irv Gotti.”
Fast forward to Aug. 27, an Instagram user @nothing_but_a_lady1 decided to reply to Gotti’s comment and potentially list reasons why he couldn’t get in touch with Moss’ parents for the film role. That person said, “@irvgotti187 nobody messes with you plus you broke.”
Gotti clapped back at the troll by confirming that Moss was able to complete the untitled project despite the hassle. The 52-year-old said, “@nothing_but_a_lady1 really. 1. She did my movie already. 2 I’m rich as f–k stupid. I just got a 300 Million Dollar Deal. To shoot and own my movies. Tv and music. I’m gonna be a billionaire stupid. Keep watching my work and hating. Lol”
Following the interaction between Gotti and the troll, someone using Moss’ parent-run Instagram account commented with several laughing emojis. Days after the exchange, on Sept. 1, social media blog Hollywood Unlocked reposted the argument on their Instagram page.
As fans viewed it, many claimed they couldn’t understand why grown adults behaved this way under a child’s Instagram account. One individual went as far as to ask Gotti to remove his comments.

“Not y’all fighting in that baby’s comments smh.”
“Leave that lil girl out of mess and trolling.”
“@irvgotti187 c’mon don’t do this on this baby page remove your comments.”
No additional details regarding Gotti’s project with Moss have been released.
