Fetty Wap Tears Up on IG Live with His Fans While Remembering His 4-Year-Old Daughter Who Recently Passed

Fetty Wap is asking fans to help him pay tribute to his 4-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell, whom he recently lost.

The “679” rapper tapped into Instagram Live with his fans on Tuesday, Aug. 3, and shared a photo of Lauren. He said, “she good my baby happy.” He then called her “My shawty” and said, “that’s my twin right there.”

Fetty went on to ask his fans to “post all butterflies” on his Live to celebrate his daughter’s life, and they proceeded to flood his Live with butterfly emojis, which brought tears to the rapper’s eyes. After wiping his face he said, “That’s love. I appreciate y’all for real.”

The toddler’s mother, whose stage name is Turquoise Miami, confirmed the news on July 31 on her Instagram with a short clip of her daughter smiling big in a pool. Without revealing the cause of death, she asked her followers to “comment or just say to yourself “ i love you LAUREN ”because they say that souls can feel your love #rip💔.” She also described her daughter as an “amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius.”

Fetty and Turquoise Miami are not together, but Turquoise did ask her followers to send the 30-year-old “some love and upliftment.” Apparently, instead of doing that some followers dragged Fetty because of old videos where Turquoise Miami is complaining about Fetty’s co-parenting.

She defended her ex and claimed that the videos were from 2017 to 2019, and said their co-parenting has “improved off the gram.” She also said, “All that y’all need to know is Lauren loved her daddy and he loved her.” She later added, “It couldn’t hurt Some of y’all to be alittle bit more compassionate, you don’t have to kick a man while he’s down. Losing a child is as down as it gets.”

It’s not clear when exactly their child passed away, but Fetty did post a tribute after the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami in July, where he said “LoLo daddy did that sh-t for you last night baby girl.”

Fetty also has five other children with four different women.
