Things are looking up for Ray J and Princess Love’s marriage. In a Feb. 8 interview with TMZ, the “One Wish” singer gave some context on the state of his marriage to Love and what big move they just made.
While admitting that he was “vulnerable” when Love did not show up to the “VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition” with him, Ray told TMZ hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere that he and the mother of his two children are doing better now after both filed for divorce last year.
He said, “We’re in a good place right now. We’re in Miami. We’re going to move down to Miami. I don’t think we are coming back to LA any time soon. And we have just been in a very positive place.” The 40-year-old continued, “It’s just giving us a different mood and a different, a different outlook on life. So God is good. We are taking it one day at a time.”
Levin proceeded to ask if this means that the two reality TV stars are back together, and Ray responded with a somewhat up-in-the-air response. He said, “Well, we are together. Are we back together? Well, I think that’s a journey that we have to take. But I think we are together and I think we love being together. Now it’s just figuring out, how do we keep it consistent and how do we enjoy life together and be good together. Because I think we’re meant to be together.”
Ray J also noted that as soon as he “locks this crib in” he will be staying in Miami for a while, meaning he and VH1 would need to discuss moving Ray J and Love from “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” to the “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” franchise, which means new location, new castmates, and possible new drama.
Ray J and Love seemed to be reconciling after Ray J uploaded two videos of him and Love on a yacht together in Miami last week. Love also restated that she wanted another baby with Ray J under one of his more recent posts. It looks like it may be only a matter of time before she gets her third baby.
