Carter’s recent fashion upload isn’t the only post that has fans going crazy on her Instagram timeline. As a way to countdown her birthday, Carter has been recreating iconic album covers from the earlier days of the rap career of her father, Lil Wayne, during his time with the group Hot Boys

The group comprised of B.G., Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Turk and were signed to Cash Money Records, releasing some of the best hip-hop projects in the late to early 2000s before Weezy went solo.

Her recent ode was to B.G. when he released “Chopper City in the Ghetto” in 1999. Nae had the look down to a T with a white top, black cap, stunner shades on, and, of course, a throwback mobile phone.

“Choppa city in Atlanta 😏 #blingbling # B.G. #Hotboys,” she captioned the image.

Compared to B.G.’s album cover, the details of her pic sent her social media fans into a frenzy and garnered her over 130,000 likes.

Carter did another Hot Boys tribute photo when she recreated the 1999 Hot Boys “Guerrilla Warfare” album three days prior.

“It’s gone be a Hot Boy / Hot girl type night 😏 #Savethedate🎯 November 29th🍾 for da 99s & the 2000s 😎 invites coming soon 💲💲💲,” she wrote for the caption.

Carter posed as B.G., Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Turk on the project’s cover that was not only creative but had fans reminiscing on the Hot Boys in their prime.

Carter indeed has fans excited to see what she’s going to be rocking for her 22nd birthday. If it’s anything like her recent fashion choices, it’s sure to be a hit.
