Monica is no longer married to former NBA player Shannon Brown, with whom she shares a daughter, Laiyah Shannon Brown. So it seems that Monica is letting the single fellas out there know she’s still got it going on.

However, one ex-boyfriend, rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller, is putting it out there that he still has love for the mother of three.

“Happy birthday Moses @monicadenise. I hope your earth day was beautiful,” he wrote to Monica. “This is the last one before I touchdown; you will get everything you deserve. Keep being the woman and warrior you are; love you, Cee.”

C-Murder is currently still serving life in prison after being convicted of murdering a 16-year-old at a Louisiana nightclub in 2002. Reportedly, Monica was working with Kim Kardashian to help get her ex-boo out of prison.

Monica spoke with Kenny Burns for V-103 Atlanta and said that there is evidence in this case that says, “he should be a free man.”

La La Anthony put Monica in contact with Kardashian after the songstress has been keeping up with Kardashian’s willingness to help free innocent people from prison.

Monica denied being in a relationship with C-Murder at the time of his arrest and that rumors surrounding an affair were utterly false.

“The idea of the ‘relationship’ of it — of course, that’s how we knew each other, but we weren’t together when he was arrested. And we weren’t together during [his incarceration], but that never changed our friendship,” Monica said during the interview.

“It was kind of unfair when other people got brought up. For instance, my ex-husband, I never did anything disrespectful in that light. And every time I went to New Orleans, he would too.”

C-Murder talked about Monica working with Kardashian in an Instagram post on Aug. 17.

He calls her “Moses” in the post, and while their relationship is no more, it seems the two have an unbreakable bond.
