Princess Love‘s daughter Melody Love is her father Ray J Norwood‘s biggest fan.
The 2-year-old darling had fans cracking up this week on social media after she mistook her name for the “One Wish” singer’s moniker. Princess took to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 2, and shared a video of herself asking baby Melody her name.
“Name, what’s your name?” Princess asked her daughter, who replied, “Rayy.”
“No your name’s not Ray, that’s daddy’s name,” the mother of two said, while laughing.
Princess captioned the video with a laughing emoji and heart. Her followers gushed over baby Melody’s cuteness and response.
“😂 She said ‘Ray’ too cute!!” said a fan.
Another added, “Awwwwww. She is really daddy’s girl and she looks like him too.. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 beautiful girl.”
“That’s smart dont tell nobody ur real name lol 😂🤣😂🙌🏾” someone else quipped.

Melody is Princess and Norwood’s first child and only daughter. They also have 8-month-old son Epik Norwood, whom they welcomed in December.
The Prella Cosmetics owner described motherhood as one of “the best feelings ever” that “nobody can prepare you for.”
Norwood also loves being a father and seems elated to have his children in his life. A day after his son was born, he penned a sweet message to his wife and wrote, “God is truly amazing! @Princesslove you are really a blessing! To watch what you went thru to have our children is something words can’t express. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for everything! 2020 is already the best year of my life! – Here he is EPIK RAY NORWOOD.”
The couple celebrated baby Melody’s 2nd birthday on May 23 with a series of cute family portraits. Princess also posted a throwback photo of the toddler, alongside a sweet message that read, “At 2:52pm today my baby Melody was born. The happiest, smartest and sweetest girl I’ve ever known. Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy. I love you more and more every day. Happy 2nd Birthday baby ❤️.”
