Princess Love is proving she’s not dependent on her husband, Ray J Norwood, to help her out around the house.
The “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, 35, took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 24, with a video of herself assembling their 7-month-old son’s Lamborghini car bed. In the clip, Love was hammering and drilling away during the wee hours of the night.
“Putting together Epik’s new bed,’ she wrote. “It didn’t come with instructions. I’m pretty sure I did it wrong, but it’s bolted in so that’s all that matters 😂😩 #2am.”
Toward the end of the video, a proud Love showed off the assembled bed to her 3 million followers.
While people applauded the model for piecing the item together by herself, many wondered why Norwood didn’t help her.
“Wtf ray?” a fan asked.
Another person said, “Let’s go super mom!!! 💯💯👏🏽👏🏽 Don’t need nobody!”
“Where’s the man y u doing a mans job ?” someone else commented.
“Girl that’s what a husband is for wtf 😟 Ray you sorry you let Princess do it all by herself,” one person wrote.
One person said that Love may have wanted to put the bed together “on her own” without waiting on Norwood’s aid.
Love and the “One Wish” singer have been married for four years and share baby Epik and 2-year-old daughter Melody Love.
After filing for divorce earlier this year from her husband, Love decided to dismiss the case in July and reconcile. Last year, the mother of two claimed Norwood abandoned her and Melody in Las Vegas following the Soul Train Awards in November to party with his friends. The R&B artist denied her claims, and Love later called it quits.
It’s unclear what led to Love’s change of heart, but she and Ray J seem to be working on their marriage. Their focus also appears to be on raising their children.
