‘You Got Me Messed Up’: Kenya Moore’s Pic with Daughter Brooklyn Daly and a Giraffe Derails When Fans Point Out the Tot’s Facial Expression

Kenya Moore‘s 1-year-old daughter Brooklyn Daly doesn’t seem to be a fan of zoo animals. On Sunday, July 5, the reality star of “The Real Housewives of Atlantashared an image on Instagram that showed her and her baby girl looking at a giraffe at a local menagerie.

Wearing an all-black dress during a visit to Pettit Creek Farms in the northwestern Atlanta suburb of Cartersville, the proud mother of one extended one of her arms toward the giraffe’s mouth while the other was wrapped around Brooklyn’s waist. In the shot, baby Brooklyn opened her mouth, gazed at the creature, and looked as if she was about to cry. “Always reach for new heights. Happy Sunday!” the self-tilted hair-care mogul wrote in her caption.

While Kenya seemed to be having the time of her life bonding with the animal, the youngster apparently did not. Kenya’s photo received numerous remarks about Brooklyn’s facial expression. One IG user wrote: “Brooklyn is looking like you got me messed up!😭😭😭❤️.” Someone else agreed and commented: “Brooklyn said no ma’am no ma’am no ma’am.” Another user joked: “Brooklyn looking like mommie don’t touch it! 😊😂.” (Perhaps Brooklyn’s instincts were correct. Giraffes, even “tame” ones, can be dangerous. In 2018 wildlife filmmaker was killed by a giraffe he was filming at a safari lodge in South Africa when it struck him with its head.)

Kenya shares the tot with her estranged husband Marc Daly. The couple got married in June 2017, and Kenya gave birth to their daughter in November the following year. The Detroit native announced in a 2019 interview with People that she and Marc were separated, hinting that the couple suffered from communication issues and stressing that there was not any infidelity in their marriage. At the time, she explained that she was willing to fight for their relationship. Marc has been spending his shelter-in-place days running his restaurant in New York, while Kenya and her daughter are still living in Atlanta during the pandemic.

Despite their unstable relationship, the 49-year-old Kenya revealed in a May interview with US Weekly that she wanted to have more kids with him. “It’s a conversation that we’re still trying to figure out, honestly. But I really feel, more and more, that I do [want to]. Time is ticking, and I want them to be close in age and … it’s a sensitive subject,” she said.
