“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore announced she is working out her relationship with restaurant owner Marc Daly, which led fans to believe her breakup was just for a storyline.
Moore dropped by “Watch What Happens Live!” on Feb. 17 for a guest television appearance, and a viewer called in to the show to find out the status of Moore and Daly’s relationship.
The fan mentioned she saw Moore and Daly together in New York, and this led Moore to jokingly say, “Wow, I have spies everywhere.”
She continued to answer the question about her and Daly by saying, “Um, you know, we’re in a good place now. We’re in a good place right now.”
Host Andy Cohen told Moore there were numerous rumors swirling around about Daly and Moore being back together, and he was curious to know if the couple was trying to make their relationship work.
Moore replied by saying, “We’re trying to figure it out now. We had a beautiful brunch today and it was great.”
Following her response, Cohen brought up her “RHOA” co-star Nene Leakes. He asked Moore if she was upset at Daly for taking up for Leakes in front of her during an earlier episode of this season’s “RHOA.”
Moore answered the questioned by saying, “I think anyone would be upset about that. I think your partner should always have your back. Whatever you say behind closed doors, that’s personal for you and your partner. You should always cover your partner, you should always stick up for them. If someone wrongs you, they wrong your partner.”
It’s no secret that Moore and Leakes have been feuding on season 12 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Their beef became known after Moore stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” and explained to Williams that Leakes never called her during her high-risk pregnancy, and when Leakes finally did see Moore at eight months pregnant, Leakes called her a “monster.” Moore went on to explain that Leakes acted like she was going to spit on her, and that is something viewers will see on the show.
Fans were not surprised about Moore and Daly rekindling their romance because they believe they never broke up to begin with.
One fan said, “Wonder if they staged the whole divorce thing just so Marc could get away not being on camera.”
“No surprise she’s “back” with her husband. I never bought into it, that they were having serious problems. This woman had done very craft things for years to be on television. A distant husband and a pending divorce was just the narrative needed to get that peach back. She needed a storyline, just having a hair care line wasn’t going to do it.”
“They never broke up,” another user said.
A fourth user said, “I still think Kenya and Marc are good and have been good. They staged their drama for ratings and peach security. It’s working. But at what cost…..”
Fans can catch up with the latest episodes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo to see how their relationship will continue to unfold.
