Shaunie O’Neal recently turned into a self-taught beautician. With hair salons temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 virus, it’s hard to tell when beauty shops will permanently open. On the night of Tuesday, April 28, the executive producer of “Basketball Wives” took to Instagram to ask fans for help with maintaining her natural hair. A few people didn’t seem too eager to assist O’Neal with her hair journey, claiming that her locks looked perfect in their authentic state.
Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife posted a video that showed her running her hands through her shoulder-length crimped hair. O’Neal explained in her caption that she had just taken out her braids. She revealed that she was headed to Target to pick up a few hair-care products to tame her mane. The 45-year-old mother of five hinted that she did not know which products to purchase. “HELP….. I Need Advice,” she wrote.
O’Neal’s tresses caused a multitude of fans to salivate over her hair, with some even urging her to wear her natural hair instead of hair extensions.

The television personality appears to be over her social distancing life. She implied in an Instagram post at the beginning of April that she was tired of staying in her West Coast home. She wrote: “The other day in the living room, thinking about what room I’m gonna sit in next 🤷🏽♀️ #quarantinelife.”
O’Neal recently moved into her new home in 2019 during season 8 of “BBW.” In 2018, two young men attempted to break into her old home, but O’Neal captured them on camera before they were able to steal anything from her property. She officially began house hunting after the incident.
