The Game swooped in for the rescue after someone called the cops on a group of kids who were trying to sell candy.
It happened in Los Angeles after The Game left the restaurant Beauty & Essex. There’s a clip that shows the Compton-raised rapper talking to the children and giving them some money.
Later in the video, the 40 year old said he wanted to make sure the children were able to make some cash, but in the right way.
“So we got kids out here selling candy,” he explained. “We got the boys in blue who have to do their job, we got me who’s giving jewels to the youth. If you going to sell candy at night there’s a way to do it, ’cause we don’t want you to get hit by the boys in blue. We want you to go home with an empty basket of candy.”
The Game has been in the news a lot since 2019 came to an end, considering that he dropped his ninth studio album “Born 2 Rap” in November.
The project features artists such as Miguel, 21 Savage, Anderson .Paak, Trey Songz and Nipsey Hussle.
In fact, the Game has honored Hussle with steady Instagram tributes since he was killed in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. The former Aftermath artist also painted his Lamborghini blue to honor Hussle and included a picture of his face on the hood.
“Now my lambo “Nipsey Blue” #TheMarathonContinues 🏁🏁🏁 [everyday I’m posting something for Nip so that my followers are reminded of his mission, work & legacy FOREVER,” wrote The Game on Instagram in April 2019.
In regards to the kids selling candy, it’s been reported the rapper allowed them to keep everything they had after he gave them the money.
