‘She Tryna Pass Fetty Wap’: Ciara Reveals Hubby Russell Wilson Wants a Basketball Team of Kids and Then Some

Ciara and Russell Wilson have been married for three years and they share one daughter together along with Ciara’s son Future Zahir. But the singer recently revealed that the Seattle Seahawks star hopes to have four times as many kids in the home.

The performer made the revelation to “Extra” Nov. 1 that Wilson wishes to have enough kids to make a basketball team and then some.

“Oh, you know, if you ask him, we’re talking eight babies,” she said. “But if you ask me I’m like, well, he’s going to basically do something you’ve never seen before where basically he’s actually carrying the rest of those babies! But seriously, it’s no joke carrying babies.”

And while Wilson is eager to fill up their home with mini-mes, Ciara has a more go-with-the-flow approach.

“Whatever happens in time, we’ll just go one day at a time,” she said. “But I definitely do look forward to having more kids. I love being a mom and my kids are everything and they really make me feel young. They keep me energized. Life is so much sweeter with them in it. So I look forward to adding more to the group, but we got time for that.”

Fans have taken to social media to offer up their thoughts on Wilson’s desires for his family to grow.

“Yes more babies 👶”

“She tryna pass fetty wap.”

Meanwhile, Wilson has made his excitement for having more kids known before. Back on Mother’s Day in May, the NFL quarterback told Ciara that he wanted to make their youngest child, 2-year-old Sienna Princess, a big sister.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the prettiest girl in the world, the sweetest thing, most precious, most loving, kind thoughtful,” the athlete said to his wife on video earlier this year. “That’s what you are. I love you. … So uh, that third baby? You’re such a good mom. You amazing, so, like, I was just tryna see … You know I believe in the number 3, too.”

Ciara has gushed about motherhood, too. Speaking to Vogue Arabia earlier this year, she gave her kids all the credit for keeping her going as an artist.

“Being a mother of two made me feel even more confident, inspired, and fearless,” she said to the fashion publication in February. “They are an extension of my legacy and they keep me young.”
