Steve Harvey’s grandson is impressing the famed comedian’s fans in two different ways.
The “Family Feud” host on Friday uploaded a video to Instagram showing off his 3-year-old son’s knowledge of the 45 presidents of the United States.
“Forty-five presidents, now I know them all,” young Benjamin Troy Raymond II said into the camera as his namesake dad appeared to film. BJ then went on to recite the names of the first eight presidents from George Washington to Martin Van Buren. Then the youngster paused to request to use his dad’s recording device.
“Can I see your phone?” he asks.
“Show em lil man My grandson BJ aka Buddha actually knows more than I do about them than me….. Hell I thought Benjamin Franklin was the most important President 💰 @iambjraymond,” Harvey added in the caption.
Harvey’s Instagram followers were just as impressed by Buddha’s presidential knowledge.
“He is the best…heck he know more than me and I went to the 12th grade..👊”
“That is amazing, young man! You are a future Supreme Court Justice who will change thins in this country! We’re praying for your generation.👌🏾💥👏💯💕❤️🙏🏼 “
“👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯Great job BJ!”
“😂😂😂 he’s so handsome and smart. He knows them all what you got grandpa?😂😂😂”
“Black Boy Magic!!!”
“👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Go on BJ! Impressive! Keep learning! @iamsteveharveytv Awww that’s a proud grandparent moment! You deserve bragging rights!”
But it wasn’t just BJ’s intelligence that caught the attention of Harvey’s followers. Some remarked that the little guy shares a prominent facial feature of his grandpa’s.
“Uuuu he got lips😀🙈”
“😃😃😃got grand dad’s lips!”
“Looks just like papa”
Harvey has shared BJ’s antics with his followers before. In January of this year, the comedian’s radio program “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” shared some footage from Harvey’s wife Marjorie Harvey’s Instagram account that saw the toddler riding around his grandparents’ kitchen on his blue scooter.
“You gotta push. Put this foot down, put this foot on the ground … Push, push. That’s how you do it. Push, there you go!” Steve instructed his grandson.
But while Steve clearly adores being a grandpa, he has joked before about his desire to have some alone time with just his wife, but she enjoys having the grandkids over for a visit.
“My wife is really into this grandparent thing, so she lets them stay over at the house, and I told her, ‘That’s not how this is supposed to work.’ They supposed to come over and then go home,” he said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last year.
