Jennifer Williams appears to have put her issues with her father behind her as the pair recently had dinner together.
The “Basketball Wives” star shared a photo of her with her dad as they went to dinner at sushi restaurant Nobu in Newport Beach, California, on July 14.
“About last night… I drove, he paid! #DinnerWithDad #WorkInProgress ❤️,” Williams captioned the pic she uploaded Monday of the duo standing in front of the star’s red Porshe coupe.
The photo-op and dinner outing comes nearly two weeks after an episode of the VH1 reality series aired where Williams gave insight into the less-than-positive relationship she has with her pops.
“I’m now divorced, I don’t have any kids, my father’s a f–king asshole,” Williams told pal Kristen Scott after the pair debriefed from the clash she had with Evelyn Lozada on the prior episode.
It’s not clear why exactly Williams and her dad appear to be estranged, but based on the reality TV star’s new pic, it seems as if the father and daughter are taking steps to get closer and on good terms.
Fans gave their support to Williams for her efforts.

On “Basketball Wives,” Williams expressed how difficult things have been since she lost her mother to cancer in 2015.
“You go through a lot of emotions and you might be sad one day, you might be angry. And trust me, that s— has really affected me,” she tearfully explained to Lozada.
But in the future, Williams hopes to bring more love into her life by having a family of her own. It’s something she told Atlanta Black Star she had the urge to do after her mom died.
“I feel like I always wanted that, but when my mom passed I felt like I didn’t have that bond with a mom anymore,” she said. “I was like, ‘You know what? This is something that I want to experience.’ I’m not saying it has to be tomorrow, but … I would love to have a child, and I don’t want a surrogate. I wanna be pregnant, I want to be able to experience that.”
