R&B singer K.Michelle has made headlines for her outlandish and outspoken personality on the popular reality television series “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta,” and for her music. The Memphis, Tennessee, native has also been the topic of surgeries gone wrong. The songstress had four surgeries in 2018 to remove botched black market silicone butt injections. Now the 34-year-old is flaunting her post-surgery body that shows that she’s looking better than ever.
On June 26, the VH-1 reality star took to Instagram posing for a before bed selfie. She rocked a messy natural hairstyle, a white tank top which she held up to showcase her stomach, and black underwear. “Flaws and All. Before bed, we selfie. Bed head! Happy weight 😝,” she wrote for her caption before hashtagging “#tanispopping.”
While K.Michelle embraced her flaws, fans of the singer couldn’t recognize anything wrong with her post and praised her for looking effortlessly flawless.
One fan explained that K.Michelle has “been fine forever 😍😍.”

Fans were ecstatic to see the singer embrace her natural beauty. In a 2012 interview with People, K. Michelle stated that she used to believe altering her appearance would boost her career. A man in Atlanta offered to inject her butt and hips with silicone.
“He wasn’t a doctor — it was black market, it was these ‘hydrogel’ injections — that’s what they were being called,” she told People. “When I found out my favorite rapper did it, that’s when I decided, ‘I’m getting it done.'” In 2017, the singer started to experience fatigue, migraines, back, and leg pain. Doctors then explained to K.Michelle that the silicone had spread down her legs, “damaging her tissue and threatening her health.”
In January 2018, a doctor recommended that K.Michelle try liposuction to remove the silicone, but the silicone spread further in her body. A few weeks later, she was rushed to the emergency room, where she had to get two blood transfusions. In April, she had three more surgeries to remove dead tissue.
“It’s the scariest thing in life, and I’m a tough girl,” she said.”I had these lumps, and I was very disfigured.”
While embracing her flaws, K.Michelle has reflected on her journey into recovery and making choices on her body based on the most popular trend at the moment.
