Keyshia Cole, 36 and her boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale, 23, aren’t afraid to publicly flaunt their love despite some folks’ disapproval.
The “You Complete Me” singer and Hale went public with their relationship in February of 2018 and now have a baby boy on the way. They were recently spotted together at an after party from the 2019 BET Awards that aired Sunday night, and Cole’s apparent pregnancy glow became the focus of her post.
She sported an orange pants and blouse set that complemented her bulging belly as Khale posted up right by her side seemingly the entire time. The couple took a sweet picture together as Cole told fans this was her first time going out in a long time.
“#BETWEEKEND Went out for the first time, in a Loooooong time. And let me tell you, I HAD MYSELF A BALL!!” the singer wrote in an Instagram post about the pair’s time at the event.
A few fans clamored over her post, delighting in seeing the seemingly happy couple.
“The glow you both have is beautiful 😍❤️.”
“Wow y’all look so dope together. Y’all FIT. 💙 congrats on the baby!”
Others, however, were more focused on Hale’s “young” looks, seemingly pointing out the pair’s 13-year age difference.
“Y ‘all look like mother && son smh. How old is he again 🤨.”
“Just sad. She need to be shame of herself and thinks it’s cute.”
“Damn he looks so young how old is he??? He looks like he’s under 25 nd how is Keisha. I hope you’re not taking care of him financially. That would be a no 😭.”
Early last year, Cole addressed social media users who clearly had a problem with her and Hale’s age difference in their relationgship, blasting fans for being judgmental.
“Now the reason I’m posting The pepper to my salt @nikokhale is because he’s been such a sweetheart to me, and I kno people have been very judgmental about our relationship but I gotta nurture what nurtures me,” Cole wrote in a now-deleted post last March, defending her relationship.
Despite how anyone may feel, the couple are still going strong and recently confirmed they’re having a baby boy. Cole nor Hale has yet to confirm how far along the artist is, but she posted a photo to her Instagram Story last month saying she’s about to “pop.”
