Angela Simmons, the daughter of Rev. Run of pioneering hip-hop group Run-D.M.C., is facing quite a bit of backlash for her apparent provocative antics.
The 31-year-old reality actress clearly isn’t shy about her flaunting her natural body on social media despite the flak she often receives. Tuesday evening, she uploaded a sensual video of herself prancing around in an orange and pink bodysuit. The garment hugged Simmons’ curves and showed off quite a bit of her cleavage.
She proceeded to seemingly pan her camera phone on her body while twirling her hair back and forth. She then shifted her bodysuit, fixing her cleavage at one point during the video.
“š¶ Hit the gym and get your shape backā ļø,” she wrote, adding the hashtags in her Instagram caption, ” #MeTime,” “#MiniVaca,” and “#builtnotbought.”
Fans clearly took issue with Simmons’ sexy post.
“So what’s this all about Angie š.”
“We need more covered up videos smh. Rev Run is still Rev I wonder what he would say about this video? smh.”
“Yu tryna pulling it closed now u knew how it fit before u got on IG.. š¤·šæāāļø girl u know what u doing n this is not queen behavior.”
“She so stuck on herself and always tryna show off her body š girl put a shirt on or somethin.”
Others defended the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star, calling denouncers judgmental.
“She looks bomb ! You what the problem is? Yall don’t even know who she is , judging by what see. Stop šš¾.”
“Ya’ll always got something to say about Angela. She liteally bothers no one and looks great haters.”
In the past, Simmons addressed social media critics calling her out on her supposed attention-seeking behavior, seemingly indicating that she doesn’t care what others think.
In 2016, she also faced similar reactions from fans when she announced her pregnancy with now 2-year-old son Joseph Sutton Tennyson. Folks judged her for having a child out of wedlock with her ex-fiancƩ Sutton Tennyson, who was gunned down last November.
“They judged me,” she said during an episode of “GUHH” in season 3. “People are always going to be in my comments, āWhereās the dad?ā Itās nonstop. … They think they know me and they really donāt. They have no idea.”
She added, “Of course, I heard a lot of chatter about me having a child out of wedlock. You got to imagine, my son has to look back at this one day and you know what, Iām human and it happened.”
