Americans got to see the youngest Obama daughter grow up in the White House but now, Sasha Obama is looking more mature than ever as she heads off to prom.
Photos of the 17-year-old went viral Friday when Twitter user @rugaNICE shared several images of his younger cousin with his famous prom date.
“When your lil cousin take Sasha Obama to prom 🏁” he wrote in the May 24 post.
Sasha wore a spaghetti strap black gown with what looked to be satin finish and styled her hair down. She accented the look with a classic smokey eye, hoop earrings, and a simple necklace. Her prom date wore a black suit and a bow tie.
The names of Sasha’s prom date and his family members were not disclosed but one image also included Sasha’s older sister, Harvard University sophomore Malia Obama, who kept things casual in a loose-fitted white dress, no makeup and box braids. Another photo saw Sasha and Malia’s mom, Michelle Obama posing with Sasha’s prom date’s family members. Dad Barack Obama was not pictured.
Instantly, @rugaNICE’s followers poured out with tweets about how great Sasha looked.

This is just the newest time that Sasha has wowed social media users.
When she had her sweet 16 party in 2017, the reaction was just as positive.

The response to Sasha’s prom look is very different from the way social media users reacted to her older sis in a recent set of photos. Malia was photographed in February lounging on the beach in Miami during a trip with college pals.
In the leaked images, Malia wore a white bikini and lounged in a chair. One photo purported to show the 20-year-old holding an alcoholic beverage.
Press criticized the eldest Obama daughter but her supporters simply urged her to get better friends.
