The days of Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann yukking it up together looked to be behind them after season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but a recent Twitter interaction may indicate tensions between them have settled. However, fans think it’s a ploy to benefit the O.G. star.
Noticing that Zolciak-Biermann recently liked a photo of Leakes at the Kentucky Derby, several dismissed the move as “desperate” and a way for Leakes to get people on her side after she shut the door on her current castmates.
“The thirst is real.. they both are desperate.”
“This door is open whenever it’s convenient for nene.”
“Because she on the outs with everyone else so she goes back to old faithful.”
“Righttt. When nene realizes all the other doors are closed right…”
“Teaming up to hate on @thekenyamoore.”
Leakes famously declared she no longer has a friendship with any of her co-stars after the “RHOA” season 11 reunion filmed in March.
“After 11 seasons I finally realize that these girls are my co-workers,” Leakes explained in a lengthy YouTube video from that month. “They all were trying to secure the bag because half of them are boring so they had no other choice but to come for me — they tried to come [for me], how ’bout that. … These girls come on this show playing checkers. I’m already over here playing chess. It’s so ridiculous for me to for them to [act] like, ‘Let’s all link up together and act like we’re nice’ and stuff when they really aren’t.”
One of the main issues Leakes had was that her now-former friend Cynthia Bailey had invited Kenya Moore to her Seagram’s Escapes beverage launch party and did not alert Leakes that her foe would appear. Leakes and Moore have previously traded barbs on social media and Leakes dissed a pregnant Moore when she showed up to Bailey’s party. Leakes said of Moore, “she’s having a buffalo, isn’t she?”
Moore is also an enemy of Zolciak-Biermann. The two took digs at one another over their various trials in life during Shereé Whitfield’s housewarming party.
“Your husband doesn’t have a job right now, so worry about that,” Moore said of the ex-“RHOA” cast member’s former Falcons player hubby, Kroy Biermann.
‘B—, you want to be me,” Zolciak-Biermann hit back before taking aim at then-unwed Moore’s fertility issues. “You want to have a baby, you can’t. You want to have a man, you f—ing don’t.”
The new Twitter interaction between Zolciak-Biermann and Leakes followed Leakes calling for her ex pal’s return to “RHOA” amid chatter that Moore may come back in season 12.
