Nene Leakes Slams Cynthia Bailey, Explains Away Unfollowing Cast Mates: ‘I Don’t Want to See Their S—‘

Fans were stunned when Nene Leakes unfollowed most of her “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mates last week, and now she’s explaining what led her and Cynthia Bailey to be on the outs.

The reality star took to Instagram Live Tuesday, March 12, and held nothing back when it came to ripping her ex-BFF.

“You gon’ have to watch the finale to see what it is that she does,” she begins. “Cynthia’s done a lot of stuff, in my opinion, on the down low [that] is very sneaky and underhanded. I’m just telling you the truth. … She has done a lot of stuff that you all just don’t get to see on the show that’s just, like, underhanded, and then I always come out looking like the bad guy. But she’s done a lot of f—ed up stuff.”

“I don’t have no hate in my heart for Cynthia. We are co-workers from this day forward,” she continues. “I don’t have any reason to not speak to her, I’m happy to speak to her. But anything else further than that, no.”

As for the issues during the finale that led Leakes to cut ties with Cynthia, the two actually discussed it on “The Talk” last year.

Before Bailey’s launch party for her Seagram’s Escapes beverage, she invited Kenya Moore without informing Leakes.

“She said that she was probably wasn’t gonna come,” Bailey explained of Moore on the CBS talk show in November. “And I neglected to let my good friend Nene know that there was a possibility that she might show up.”

The incident, according to fan Instagram account @therealhousewivesofatlanta, led Leakes to feel like Bailey intentionally invited Moore as a means to drum up drama. Reportedly, if Leakes had known Moore would have been there the original “RHOA” member would have skipped the party altogether.

Additionally, Leakes also said there were some things she asked Bailey about “and she lied and lied and lied and lied till finally, this finale shows the sneaky, underhanded Cynthia Bailey, which is unfortunate.”

Also during the live stream, Leakes explained what her issue was with the rest of the women she wound up unfollowing, Porsha WilliamsKandi Burruss, Eva Marcille, and Tanya Sam.

“After 11 seasons I finally realize that these girls are my co-workers,” Leakes explained. “They all were trying to secure the bag because half of them are boring so they had no other choice but to come for me — they tried to come [for me], how ’bout that. … These girls come on this show playing checkers. I’m already over here playing chess. It’s so ridiculous for me to for them to [act] like, ‘Let’s all link up together and act like we’re nice’ and stuff when they really aren’t.”

She added she has no issues being “the villain” because “my check gets bigger.” Continuing to tear into the other women, she said friends of the show and the newbies, who would be Shamari DeVoe and Sam, felt they needed to make their mark by going after her.

“They all needed to say something … And they only way of thinking they can step up is to step to me … [to] make the executives pay them some attention,” she says. “So a lot of the girls tried to secure the bag because their bags are just not quite secured. I don’t have to follow them on social media. It’s not that big of a deal to me. I don’t want to see their s—.”

While Leakes is lashing out at her friends-turned-co-workers, fans have been rallying against her.

“This lady so damn childish.”

“Nene never owns anything it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault. Girl grow up 🙄”

“Nene u are too old for all this. Very disappointing.”

“Brentt, come get your mama. We know she’s iconic, but she’s doing just a little too much lately.”
