It’s fair to say that fatherhood looks amazing on R&B singer Ray J. Norwood.
The 38-year-old artist appears to be in the business of making his 10-month-old daughter happy at all costs. He took to his Instagram feed on Wednesday evening with a video of himself and baby Melody Love Norwood bopping to the sound of his tunes.
In the video seemingly recorded by Ray’s wife Princess Love Norwood, the “One Wish” singer is seen clapping his hands while dancing and singing, “Clap ‘ya’ hands, come on, come on, clap ‘ya’ hands. … It’s your Lola and your daddy and your momma…”
The infant appeared to be enjoying her dad’s live performance, joining him by also clapping to the tune while laughing up a storm. During one point of the video, Ray J. burst into laughter after his wife blasted him for hitting the “shoot” dance, a popular move often done by children.
Nevertheless, fans gushed over Ray and Melody’s adorable video together.
“I knew you would be a great dad your so silly 😂 melody sooo cute ❤️.”
“Mels if having a good ole time with her dada ✨✨😍! @rayj I enjoy seeing you spending time, being silly & doing fun stuff with your baby.”
“😂😂 She’s such a beautiful, gorgeous, and pretty Princess baby 😍 with her clapping her 👏👏, i just love, love her!”
“🤣🤣 this is too cute! I love ya’lls family moments!! The cutest little adorable baby ever!!! 💕Melody got the church clap😍 blessed wit rhythm! Your a great dad!”
It’s great to see Ray J. and his family in great spirits especially after they announced on Instagram their dog Boogotti had been missing. He told CBS L.A. on April 17 that the 3-year-old white Maltese was picked up by a young man driving a white Dodge Charger while on the street, a person whom he describes as a hero.
“My dog is so little to where, you know, coyotes could have got him or he could just been out stranded in the street,” he told the news source. “So we appreciate the person who seen Boogotti and picked him up cause that really helped put our mind at ease.”
