A sexy shot of Jennifer Williams posing in a skimpy one-piece swimsuit was overridden by remarks about Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum leading the team to win Game 1 of their first-round NBA playoffs series.
It all went down in the comments section of Williams’ Instagram photo, which she uploaded on Saturday, April 13.
The “Basketball Wives” star posed in a black bathing suit with a plunging neckline and cutouts along the sides.
“Only worries for today are these tan lines 💋 @nandi.khubone coming thru with the 📸” Williams captioned the post, which was uploaded from Studio City, California.
Days later, however, Williams was confused with another Jennifer Williams who went viral last year when she challenged McCollum over his apparent inability to win a playoff game.
As such, fans hopped into the reality show star’s Instagram comments to let her know the NBA guard scored 24 points to send the Trail Blazers to a 104-99 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 on April 14.
“Hey, CJ finally won that playoff game.”
“Cj Mccolumm won a playoff game.”
“Hey, CJ finally won that playoff game.”
“Trying to avoid the absolute embarrassment CJ handed you😂”
“CJ won a playoff game! He gonna talk big all over ur ass so sit down 🤣”
In August 2018, McCollum responded to a tweet from The Score that declared he “really hates ring chasing.” The website quoted him saying he thinks “it’s disgusting” that players were joining the Golden State Warriors to land a championship title.
“Y’all stay bringing up old stuff. Yall got me out here looking like a bitter ex. 1 of the best teams ever assembled W/ 2 players you could argue are top 15 greatest to lace them up. 4 hall of famers w/ another one on the way. I’m happy stop making me look like a scorn man sheesh,” he tweeted in response.
Then, Twitter user Jennifer Williams, who is a Warriors fan, replied, “Win a playoff game then talk.”
“Im trying Jennifer,” McCollum replied. His tweet went viral and since racked up more than 14,000 retweets and over 48,000 likes.
However, Williams the “BBW” star was not that same person who sent out the tweet to McCollum. She fired off a response to one of the Instagram users who mistook her for the viral Twitter user.
“@hayden._.loftin y’all gotta do better. You know I’m not the only JW on the planet. I don’t know him or her or WTF this dumb s–t is about. The only thing basketball related I’m tweeting about is Basketball Wives on @vh1 ✌🏽y’all can’t be this dumb!!!”
