It’s safe to say that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Nas are two incredibly busy people, but that doesn’t mean they can’t find time to relax a little.
On afternoon of Sunday, March 10, the Bad Boy boss posted a photo of himself and the Queens rapper when they were in Miami, and in the caption Combs called Nas one of his dearest friends.
“I thank God for this brother right here,” wrote Combs. “He’s been one of my best friends since I entered into the music industry. But it’s not just about music, this is my brother! I’m so proud of him, when I look at him, I look at him like the LEGEND he is. God’s son @Nas!!”
Nas shared a couple of photos from Miami as well, and one of them showed him, Combs and DJ Khaled posing together.
Plus the “Illmatic” rhymer posted a solo shot that shows him gazing into the water, and people had a lot to say about each picture, but especially the one that showed Nas and Combs.
“lord yes, this is what its all about. kings up lifting each other,” someone wrote. “imagine how much stronger we will be if we all had this mind set.”
The photos were also posted one day after the 22nd anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s murder. Biggie was gunned down in Los Angeles in 1997, and Combs, who signed him to Bad Boy Records, was behind him in another vehicle at the time.
“Biggie should still be here with you 2 legends but we know he’s looking down smiling and probably having a good time up there in heaven,” one person commented.
