R&B musician K. Michelle is receiving a bit of backlash from social media after posting a half-naked photo of herself this past weekend.
The “Crazy Like You” singer appears to be growing extremely confident in the skin she’s in. She took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a racy image of her exposed body after stepping out of the shower. She posed for a selfie in front of a mirror with nothing on but her brown underwear and her tresses partially covering her breasts.
“I just hopped out the shower and I’m feeling sexy as f–k, ” K. Michelle wrote in her photo caption. “Talk dirty to me tonight😉❤️🎤.”
The 33-year-old attended Bliss Nightclub the night before on Feb. 16 in Washington for a special appearance.
Fans of the artist expressed great disappointment in her for posting semi-nude images on the ‘Gram.
“You’re sending young girls mixed messages,” one person commented. “Why can’t you just LOVE yourself the way YOUR LOYAL FANS DO🤦🏾.”
Another added, “Your child see’s all u post have some respect n class about ya self your a mom come on don’t u want better for ya self 🤔.”
One critic in particular caught K. Michelle’s attention after telling her to clothe herself.
“Put some dam clothes on,” the fan wrote.
The singer viciously responded back, “Put some damn d–k in yo mouth.”
K. Michelle admitted in the past that she’s struggled with low confidence and self-esteem when she was younger, but eventually learned to love herself. She also explained to “The Real” during a 2017 interview the reason why she altered her body a few years ago.
“I picked on everything on my body; teeth, waist, breasts, bottom, but I still was looking at this hurt person,” she told. “I’ve always been curvy [but] I thought, I want to take it to the extreme,” she said. “I’m having trouble with men right now, maybe if I had a huge butt I’ll get even bigger love.”
Later that year K. Michelle eventually removed the silicone injections from her body after suffering from health complications. She told fans in a recent Instagram post that she feels healthier than ever.
