Bow Wow Now on Some ‘Other’ Stuff Since Fracas and Arrest With Ex Kiyomi Leslie

Former child star Bow Wow appears to be putting the past behind him after his recent arrest with his ex-girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie.

The couple were hauled off to the Fulton County Jail over the Super Bowl weekend after being charged with battery. Since his arrest, Bow Wow has only obliquely referred to the incident in his Instagram Story.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 4, and said he apparently had “other” things on his plate besides the incident with Leslie.

“My voice is not where it needs to be,” he wrote. “Went to sleep, woke up…got a whole other situation going on right now. Superbowl Weekend was crazy.”

It was reported that Bow was also seen partying it up for Super Bowl LIII with Diddy and Jermaine Dupri on Sunday, Feb. 3, following his arrest and subsequent release.

Bow and Kiyomi Leslie, whose real name is Leslie Holden, allegedly got into a physical altercation on Saturday morning after the rapper was enraged with jealously when he saw the 27-year-old talking to another man, according to police records.

“Mr. Moss stated that Ms. Holden was all over another man’s body in the party,” the police report stated. “A man Mr. Moss referred to as Shaquille.”

It’s unknown if the report was referring to former NBA star Shaquille O’ Neal, who hosted a Super Bowl party that the pair was reportedly spotted at. Both Bow and Leslie admitted to the rapper being jealous.

According to police, a verbal dispute broke out between the couple after leaving the party and arriving home which “quickly became physical.” Leslie claimed Bow Wow hit her in the head and dragged her by the hair into different rooms of their Midtown condominium.

Police said both “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars sustained visible minor injuries. The 27-year-old had some redness on her lower back, broken fingernails and red marks on her right fingers. Bow Wow sustained scratches and gashes on his face and neck. He claimed his ex-girlfriend “grabbed a night-stand lamp and threw it at him.”

Officers were unable to determine who the primary aggressor was in the incident and arrested both. They both were released hours later on Saturday on $8,000 bonds.

Bow Wow’s attorney, Joe Habachy, said they’re looking to get the charges against the rapper dropped and move forward with pressing charges against Leslie.
