The program, which is based on The New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber’s book series, follows the Duncan family. The head of the clan is LC Duncan, who runs a family-owned exotic car dealership. He and his family reside in Jamaica, Queens, and appear to be upstanding by day. But at night the family is faced with fighting against the high-ranking politicians, mafia and drug cartels in the city.

Roman portrays London Duncan, the oldest daughter, who in the finale has to contend with the apparent kidnapping of her daughter Mariah. Initially, London may come off as a homebody, but her secrets are anything but tame.

Fans who have watched along with the show since its debut in November have sung Roman’s praises.

“Very happy for you! I’ve watched you over the years and you’ve only done awesome things…congratulations!🙌🏽”

“This damn show right here @tamiroman y’all really be having me on edge trying to figure it out 🔥🙌🏽”

“How I LooooooooooVE this SERIES I watch it Over and over OFFFFFF the Charts EVERYONE in this series ROCKED…”

This is one of the newest forays outside of “Basketball Wives” for the star. However, it is far from her first acting gig. After first appearing on TV screens on season 2 of MTV’s “The Real World” in 1993, Roman has snagged roles on “Married with Children,” “The Parkers,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” and “Half and Half.”

More recently, she appeared on CBS’ “Extant” in 2014 and continues’ to have her “The Bonnet Chronicles” series on Tidal. She recently played on BET’s TV movie “Fall Girls” earlier this month.
