Keyshia Cole recently playfully clapped back at folks who requested that she interact more with fans on Twitter.
Celebrities tend to engage with their fans through social media as a way to connect with them. However, folks appeared to be feeling a little disconnected from Cole after claiming that she doesn’t interact with them enough.
One fan, in particular, tweeted the “Just Like You” singer on January 5 and wrote, “@KeyshiaCole can you get on Twitter more this year and talk to the fans?”
Cole read the person’s tweet and fired back, ” You. Guys don’t engage enough for me! I be wanting to TALK.”
Cole seemingly referred to a series of tweets she posted on January 3 in her response to the fan. The singer appeared to be up during the wee hours of the morning that day and posted seven times back-to-back on Twitter. All of her tweets got extremely little to no responses that morning.
Nevertheless, other fans chimed in under the musician’s tweet and said they’ve tried talking with Cole through Twitter plenty of times.
“Chile you never tweet me back, when I be trying to talk to you! 🙄.”
“Gurl stop it …I’m always throwing questions at you and/or giving you a highfive for an awesome clap-back …but that’s when I’m not on Instagram though 😁 majority of my time be ‘where’ Overthere! 😘 Love You Though KC!!! 🙌🏾.”
“Let’s get in to it this year!!! The fans are ready!!!”
On another note, Cole has been extremely open about her love life and family affairs. She appeared on season 4 of “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” and took fans through her divorce with ex-husband Daniel Booby Gibson who she was married to for six years. The couple finalized their divorce in 2017, but still co-parent their son Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr.
Cole, 37, has also been open about her new love interest, 23-year-old aspiring rapper Niko Khale. She went public with their relationship in 2018 and has expressed to fans how in love she is with him.
“Someone who matches my fly, Good hearted, and somehow has managed to keep his promises 👑🤞🏽,” she wrote in an Instagram post of she and Khale.
