Months after it was reported that LDNX Records wants Remy Ma held in contempt of court over money her former manager Vince Herbert owes them, the company has gotten its wish.
LDNX Records claimed in an August filing Herbert owes them $380,000 stemming from a business agreement that went left. Remy and Lady Gaga had been subpoenaed to turn over documents disclosing financial details regarding what agreements they made with Herbert so LDNX can know exactly what he owes in royalties.
While Gaga complied, Remy failed to answer the subpoena and now she has 30 days to comply or she could face sanctions, The Blast reported. A judge ordered Remy to turn over all documents related to her work with Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Remy has 30 days to respond to every inquiry relating to her collaborations with Herbert along with the amount of money he owes on their collective projects. The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reality star must also cough up any funds she owes Herbert in order for it to be turned over to the record label.
The case is ongoing and Remy parted ways with Herbert in February reportedly over the drama stemming from Braxton and their ongoing divorce.
