After Having Emergency C-Section, Kenya Moore Admits She’s Having a ‘Tough’ Day of Recovery

Kenya Moore is resting up after getting induced to give birth early over the weekend. And the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed she hasn’t had the easiest time recovering from her cesarean section.

The 47-year-old welcomed her first child, a girl named Brooklyn Doris Daly just after 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 after suffering from a pregnancy complication called preeclampsia. Moore had to be induced since the condition led to dangerously high blood pressure.

While People magazine reported Brooklyn “is very alert and active” and the new mom was doing well, Moore disclosed on Tuesday, Nov. 6 that she was having a “tough” day of healing.

“Having a tough day of recovery and just got these! So gorgeous feeling so emotional! Thank you @kandi for being you and all your generosity from you and your family! I love you mama!” Moore shared on her Instagram page of a wild bouquet of flowers her pal and current RHOA cast member Kandi Burruss sent her.
