Singer K. Michelle teased on social media that she’s ready to have more children, but fans quickly accused her of barely being a parent to her only child.
The “Can’t Raise a Man” artist has been very vocal in the past about wanting to have twins with her fiance Dr. Kastan Sims. She gave birth to her son Chase in 2004 and has been very adamant about keeping him off of television and under the radar. She did, however, reveal on Twitter in 2017 that she was having fertility issues following her diagnosis with Lupus.
The 33-year-old shared an Instagram video of twin girls laughing up a storm while living their best lives on a swing set. K. Michelle captioned the recording, “Ovaries😉🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 My only focus #comingsoonfinally #prayersup #happyplace.”
Fans quickly bombarded “Kimberly’s” post with comments saying the singer wasn’t prepared to have more kids because she barely parents her 14-year-old son.
One fan wrote, “Isn’t ur mom taking care of the kid u already do have? Asking for my cousin😂.”
Another added, “Never understood how people keep having kids and barely had the 1st one🤷🏾♀️ but that none of my business.”
“Tf how she barely has time,” said a third person.
One person commented, “She don’t have time 4 one wtf she talkin bout.”
K. Michelle opened up to Essence in Oct. 2017 about how important it was to keep her son and her future children out of the limelight.
“I’ve never put my son on Love and Hip Hop. I never posted him on my Instagram page and I’ve protected him from the Internet, the heckling and all that kind of stuff. And when the babies are born, they probably won’t be seen much either.”
