Evelyn Lozada’s sweet Instagram post about her son was derailed for a bit when she initially butted heads with a fan who brought up her ex-fiancé Carl Crawford.
Lozada and her 4-year-old son had been visiting the San Diego Zoo Safari Park when the reality TV star snapped a photo of the youngster feeding a kangaroo from his bare hand.
“Hiiiiiiii Mr. Carl ‘Leo’ Crawford 👋🏽😍 #MommyLovesYouSoMuch,” the “Basketball Wives” star captioned the photo.

Fans gushed over the adorable moment.

But then, one fan wondered if it hurt Lozada to utter her former flame’s name.
“The cutest but does it bother you that you are reminded of his daddy every time you say your son name. @evelynlozada.”
“@celine_hermes – Only a bitter woman would be ‘bothered’ at such a thing. I will forever love my son’s father ❤️ We have an amazing son together & that’s all that matters,” Lozada initially shot back.
Then, the user explained why she broached the subject.
“@evelynlozada sorry my baby father abused me, left me homeless, and had four babies on me!!! So I will forever hate his ass. Never bitter, I love my son !!! But I wish I would not have had a child and named him after a demon!!!!!”
And Lozada appeared to let her guard down and gave some advice.
“@celine_hermes I’m sorry you had to go through that. You can take all that bullshit you went through and turn it into something positive. Your son has his name, but you can raise him to be the total opposite of his father ❤️🙏🏽.”
Lozada and Crawford, a former MLB star, split in 2017 after getting engaged in December 2013.
“They did break up but it was over infidelity back in February,” a representative for Lozada simply told E! News at the time.
In March 2014, the pair welcomed their son. When the duo failed to make it down the aisle, Lozada allegedly kept the $1.4 million engagement ring Crawford gave her, TMZ reported.
