“Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq promised to be “messy, messy” when she went on Facebook Live Wednesday, Sept. 12 and she certainly delivered.
Huq held nothing back when it came to weighing in on co-star Quad Webb-Lunceford’s divorce from Dr. Gregory Lunceford. She reflected on Dr. G’s appearance on “Frank and Wanda In The Morning” that day and dug into his admission that the spouses were sleeping in separate bedrooms two years into their union.
“I was wondering if anyone had told Dr. G, ‘Well, if she married you and then second season y’all was already sleeping in separate bedrooms once she was on the show’ … the math ain’t adding up right,” Huq says at around the 3:03 mark.
The “Married to Medicine” executive producer also claimed Webb-Lunceford ditched going to work on “Sister Circle” to head to V-103 to try to stop her estranged husband from going on air to discuss their split.
“Boo Boo Kitty, you have had a voice and you’ve been lying about it and it’s time for him to tell his truth,” Huq says.
After dissing Webb-Lunceford for saying she’s “fake and phony” on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Huq said people are starting to “see the real Quad.”
“The fact of the matter is that she is a social climber and I think he sees it,” the star adds. “Everybody sees it. So go on back down to the V-103, Dr. G, and tell your truth.”
Huq also questioned why Webb-Lunceford, according to Lunceford, would not go to church with her husband. She also claimed he “really wasn’t cheating” but instead “moved on” from his wife since they hadn’t had sex with each other in years.
“I don’t think he was trying to throw her under the bus, he was just telling the truth. Like, she’s going on all these different media outlets saying stuff that just really isn’t true and really trying to run the boy’s career. And that is so wrong.
“You have to think, she wouldn’t be on ‘Married to Medicine’ if she wasn’t married to Dr. G — be clear,” Huq adds. “Because the one thing that I have remained adamant about on my show is that we remain — not that you have to stay married to medicine — but you have to be affiliated. That’s the whole point of the show. … So I think that’s why she got that divorce on pause.”
Further dissing Webb-Lunceford, she questioned why, if the “Sister Circle” host makes more money than her estranged husband, she needs money from her doctor hubby.
