Kandi Burruss made headlines when she followed “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Porsha Williams on Instagram a few weeks back, effectively burying the hatchet between them. But when it comes to Phaedra Parks, viewers shouldn’t hold their breath that the same thing will happen.
The “Don’t Think I’m Not” singer appeared on E!’s “Daily Pop” last week to promote her new Bravo series, “Kandi Koated Nights” and while there, the hosts asked her about her relationship with Williams.
“The Lord worked on me,” the performer says. “I really was tired of all the drama from the past seasons and I feel like she was tired of it too. I feel like we both really wanna move forward … it’s hard for me to move forward. Once you cut me I normally just cut you off completely. In this situation, I honestly felt like, OK, we are genuinely having a good time. We should be able to be cool.”
But when asked if there’s any hope for Parks, Burruss swiftly shut down the inquiry.
“Stop. Stop,” she says firmly with a chuckle.
During the 9th season of RHOA, former peach holder Parks told Williams that Burruss wanted to rape and drug Williams, a rumor that led to a dispute between Burruss and Williams. It also caused Parks to get the boot from the long-running Bravo series.
But Burruss began following Williams on Instagram in late June with Williams following back days later.
However, the same likely won’t happen with Parks and several fans don’t blame Burruss for holding out on the lawyer one bit. But others held out hope.
“Phaedra schemed to bring her down. Issa no.”
“Leave her where she is….”
“It takes a bigger person to move on.”
“The Lord Will Work on You regarding Phaedra Too😍🙏🙏.”
“Forgive and forget.”
