LeBron James is being sued by Adventure Enterprises for reportedly stealing a show idea.
According to TMZ, Adventure Enterprise claimed they discussed the “Shop Talk” concept with James’ UNINTERRUPTED company for a period of 2 years and was later cut out of the show. “Shop Talk” is about celebs and politicians, in a barbershop setting, talking about their rise to stardom while getting their hair cut.
James’ company UNINTERRUPTED aired the first episode as a webisode and Adventure Enterprise confronted them about ripping off the show. Adventure said, James’ company apologized and promised it wouldn’t happen again. Then the next episode aired on ESPN.
James’ business partner Maverick Carter is also being sued by the company. James and Carter’s team said that the lawsuit is, “totally frivolous and publicity seeking.”
