Snapchat apologized for making an inappropriate reference to Rihanna and Chris Brown’s domestic violence incident, in an advertisement on the app. Rihanna didn’t accept the apology and called Snapchat out on her Instagram story.
“Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there! But Im just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess!” She then pointed out the intentional disrespect to domestic violence victims. “You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV (domestic violence) victims and made a joke of it!”
The “Wild Thoughts” singer made sure to add that the hurtful ad goes beyond her. She said, “This isn’t about my personal feelings, cause I don’t have much of them.. but all the women, children, and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven’t made it out yet, you let us down.”
The pop star ended her comment and said that she didn’t except the apology Snapchat released yesterday. She said,” Shame on you. Throw the whole app-oligy away.”
Rihanna Navy comes to her defence again and joins in on the Snapchat drag. Fans are ready to “throw the whole app away”:

Rihanna almost never speaks publicly about her past relationship with DV – understandably – but Snapchat is officially done for this. pic.twitter.com/bEfleTMzuv
