Former ‘Today Show’ co-host Tamron Hall, received a new deal with Investigation Discovery. After reportedly dealing with a contract issue with NBC, she makes a return back to ID.
Many fans were upset about her leaving and vowed to follow her anywhere as a viewer. Now those fans can see her on Investigation Discovery in an upcoming series that will be similar to “Deadline Crime” which she did back in 2013 for the network. The spokesperson for ID confirmed she’ll be “taping all-new episodes. The show will start filming this year for an air-date in 2019.”
Last year, Hall had a falling out with NBC. They released statements saying “Tamron Hall will be leaving NBC News and MSNBC when her contract expires this month,” they continued and said “Tamron is an exceptional journalist, we valued and enjoyed her work at ‘Today’ and MSNBC and hoped that she would decide to stay. We are disappointed that she has chosen to leave, but we wish her all the best.”
Sources told US Weekly that Hall was taken by surprise and “She was a wreck in commercial breaks and couldn’t believe the company would tell her just before going live on MSNBC.”
