Nicki Minaj Would Perform With Mariah Carey Despite Feud

Nicki Minaj admitted that she would till perform along site Mariah Carey, despite their infamous American Idol feud.

The latest panel of American Idol judges has seen quite a bit of drama between the two lovely ladies of the panel after Minaj exploded into an explicit rant aimed at the R&B songstress during taping for one of the first episodes.

Luckily, however, it seems like the “Pound the Alarm” crooner has no problem putting personal issues aside for the sake of fans.

“I would do that,” she told E! in reference to performing along side her nemesis. “I think people would be interested in seeing that.”

Let’s not forget, however, that Nicks already shared the spotlight with her co-judge before for the filming of Mariah Carey’s music video for “Up Out My Face” which featured the animated rapper.

Either way, in the YMCMB rapper’s opinion Carey is just a little upset because she “met her match.”

“I think Mariah met her match this time, and I don’t think she was expecting to meet her match,” the 29-year-old stated during the first episode of her three part reality special “Nicki Minaj: My Truth.”

Perhaps the daring rap star would actually love the opportunity to try to upstage the “Obsessed” songstress during a performance together.

In addition to discussing the beef with her fellow American Idol judge, the rapper turned reality star also made sure she showed fans her true side – minus the wigs, make up, and eyelashes.

“Even when I’m doing things like changing wigs or looking raggedy, fans have never seen that,” she added during her interview. “It’s real. I’m going to tell the truth about a lot of things. There’s a lot of wrong things said about me that I don’t usually say anything about, but now I am.”

There are countless stories in the media that are waiting for Nicki Nick’s denial or approval and perhaps now will be the time she will finally put some of the rumors to rest.

The hip hop Barbie won’t only be dishing out the new stuff, however, as she took the time to remind her fans of her interest in acting.

During a behind the scenes look of her music video “Right Thru Me,” the rapper turned pop singer admitted that she would love to give acting a try, and she brought up the film interest again during her reality special on E!

“I want to do something like a small action movie,” she admitted.

Despite the old rumors that the “Starships” rapper endorsed Mitt Romney, she also expressed how excited she was that President Obama had been re-elected and even wished her song would have been the one that played when he came out for his victory speech.

“My fans are so crazy,” the Trinidad and Tobago native continued. “They were saying they wanted the president to come out last night with my song ‘Freedom’ playing.”

The self proclaimed Harijuku Barbie’s second episode of her reality series will air this Sunday at 10:30/9:30 p.m. CT.
