Trump’s Posting Spree Takes a Sickening Turn as He Shares a Man’s Final Moments — Then a Bizarre Follow-Up Has Piers Morgan Demanding He Delete It

Donald Trump went on another unhinged posting spree, leaving critics wondering if the president has finally lost the plot.

The 80-year-old Truth Social boss has turned his MAGA megaphone into a bizarre posting binge.

Trump has spent the last few days sharing various clips, each one becoming stranger than the last. But no one could have predicted his latest pick, which is now being viewed as highly offensive.

Trump turned one family’s real-life tragedy into a Truth Social post, and the internet is not letting him slide.

Critics aren’t just questioning his judgment and mental acuity; they’re asking why he thought this made for good content.

The 24-year-old former child actor died after entering a tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in the United Kingdom on Oct. 10. His family says William Chapman struggled with mental illness.

A large male Amur tiger named Altai mauled Chapman, and emergency responders pronounced the 24-year-old dead at the scene.

Footage of the deadly incident spread across the internet. Instead of offering Chapman’s loved ones condolences, Trump turned the viral tragedy into a joke.

He uploaded the disturbing clip of the tiger attack to Truth Social days later on Oct. 13 and captioned it, “Don’t ever mess with nature!”

Seven hours later, Trump returned to the app to post a caption-less, AI-created video showing him joyfully playing with a tiger.

The Tokens’ 1961 hit song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” served as the soundtrack for the MAGA chief’s computer-generated video.

Trump faced instant backlash as social media erupted over his choice to turn a man’s death into online fodder.

“That is utterly disgraceful for anyone to do. For the president of the U.S. to do it, while the family is still grieving, is a clear sign that he is totally unfit for the job,” read one tweet.

“Did trump really post this?” asked one in disbelief before others began questioning the president’s sanity. Two critics believe, “This man is sick!!” and “He’s insane.”

“Didn’t think Trump could get any lower. This poor man’s family are absolutely devastated their son has died in this way. Has pleaded for people not to share on social media. So what happens today. The president of [the] US thinks this is ok.”

The indignation resumed when one person tweeted, “Just when we all think he can’t get much lower, he then does.”

The family of Chapman also pleaded for people not to circulate images of his last moments alive.

“The publication and circulation of deeply offensive media content is ‌causing… severe distress at an exceptionally vulnerable time. We ask people to stop doing this,” Chapman’s family said in a statement.

Even Trump’s longtime friend and supporter Piers Morgan weighed in on the controversy.

Morgan, 61, won the inaugural season of Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” reality television competition show in 2008. Their bond endured over the next two decades.

The “Piers Morgan Uncensored” host has denounced Trump in the past over issues like the promotion of false 2020 election conspiracy theories and the January 6 Capitol riot.

Morgan’s latest rebuke condemned the mockery of Chapman’s death as unacceptable and distasteful.

“This is appallingly tasteless. Delete it, President @realDonaldTrump,” Morgan demanded. His tweet amassed 1.7 million views on X and more than 13,000 likes from people who agreed.

People should temper their expectations that Trump will take the high road under these circumstances. Throughout his run as the central figure in American politics, he has repeatedly insulted recently deceased individuals.

Former Republican Sen. John McCain, former Democratic Rep. John Dingell, Hollywood director Rob Reiner, and former FBI Director Robert Mueller have all been posthumous targets of a vengeful Trump.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
