Melania, 56, returned to public view for the first time in over a month. Her latest appearance came amid a headline-grabbing controversy tied to her husband, President Donald Trump, and his loyal aide.
The couple has been under scrutiny for nearly two years, as many suspect the first lady never wanted Trump to run a second term.

Melania’s absence has opened the floodgates to speculation that she and the POTUS were headed for divorce. Yet there was no evidence to suggest so.
Instead, the speculation remained just that until another Trump-adjacent figure suddenly entered the conversation.
Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia set off a firestorm by mentioning the president’s closest aide, Natalie Harp, in a rally speech.
Harp, 35, serves as a special assistant in the West Wing. Her reported obsession with Trump, 80, includes writing him loving letters and sleeping in a locker room to be close to him.
Following Harp’s introduction to the masses, a media circus ensued. The palace intrigue involving the former OANN anchor raised questions about why Melania hadn’t been seen in 32 days.
That was until she finally stepped back in front of cameras in the White House’s Rose Garden.on Aug. 20. She reappeared alongside Trump as the Harp discourse intensified.
Melania kept a stone-faced expression as Trump tightly held her left hand. They barely looked at each other before she reached the lectern.
She eventually gave Trump a faint smile. He then patted her back before taking his seat in the audience.
People on social media dialed in on the awkward exchange. Most of the commentary was blasting Trump for not respecting his wife’s personal space.
“And he cut in front like always!!! Ignorant SOB!!” exclaimed one person on Threads. Similarly, someone complained, “Doesn’t he [know] ladies go first… No manners.”

The complaints continued when another Trump critic expressed, “OMG, stop already… this is just ridiculous and ignorant… ugh. Grow up. Next.”
Melania’s deadpan reaction in the video fueled responses as well. For instance, a poster wrote, “She hates him with the bone-melting heat of 40 trillion exploding suns.”
“How much did Melania’s appearance fee cost us this time?” a commenter sarcastically asked. A like-minded jokester posted, “She’s ticked she had to show up! I’m sure she charged him extra.”
Speculation that the Trumps’ 21-year marriage is mostly for show has been an ongoing narrative for years. Thursday’s photo op did not quell those rumors.
“So pathetic, fooling no one,” read another Threads post, suggesting Trump and Melania are only married for convenience and power.
The Natalie Harp story has become a dark cloud over Trump that is currently overshadowing his presidency. Even Melania stepping back out could not distract from the growing scandal.
“Fake marriage. We all know he’s fiddling the [35-year-old] aide. Gotta make good for the cameras. This only makes him look guilty,” a Threads user declared.
After 10 years of the world closely watching Melania and Trump interact, numerous incidents have shown that the pair are not always on the same page.
The first Trump term was filled with examples of Melania showing obvious annoyance with the former “The Apprentice” reality show star.
During Trump’s 2017 inauguration, cameras caught Melania giving a beaming smile at her husband until he turned around. Her facial expression instantly transformed into a scowl behind his back.
A separate infamous skirmish took place that same year at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. When the president reached to hold Melania’s hand on the tarmac, she sharply batted his hand away.
