58-Year-Old Jamie Foxx’s Baby Bombshell: Daughter Corinne Speaks Out as Family Grows Again

Jamie Foxx is usually private when it comes to his personal life, but a major recent shift in his family dynamic has the actor-singer making a rare comment about this new chapter.

Foxx, who has never been married, has two daughters from two separate women.

In 1994, he welcomed his first child Corinne Foxx, 32, with his girlfriend Connie Kline. In 2008 he welcomed daughter Annelise Foxx with then-girlfriend Kristin Grannis.

One would assume Foxx was done having kids, but back in May it was revealed that his current girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp was pregnant. She was photographed in Beverly Hills displaying a baby bump in June while she and Foxx were out to dinner.

While Foxx, 58, initially kept silent about the news, on Aug. 20, he and his eldest daughter, Corinne, candidly shared their thoughts about it during an interview with E! News and Extra.

The two were promoting the upcoming eighth season of their game show “Beat Shazam” when the subject of Foxx’s new child came up.

Corinne, wearing a big smile on her face said, “ Yes, I’m going to be a sibling times three now. Yeah, I’m very excited.”

She said she was “very excited for him” before singing his praises about his role as a father.

“He’s the best dad in the world. And so he is going to thrive and excel. It’s going to be amazing.”

The interviewer asked Jamie if the baby would play tennis.

Foxx, seemingly giving away the gender said, “Man, he’s going to play some tennis for sure. I was playing tennis the other day – tweaked the hammy, but I’ll be ready in like two weeks.”

The “Power Project” star kept it real with E! News about how he initially felt about becoming a dad of three.

“Being my age, I was a little on the fence, you know being 58,” he said, “But then I ran into Al Pacino a few months ago.”

The legendary 86-year-old actor welcomed his latest kid, Roman Pacino, at age 83 with his then-girlfriend Noor Alfallah.

Foxx said he joked with Pacino and told him, “‘Al, you gonna be back in the drop-off line?”

Fans shared their reaction to Corinne being excited about welcoming a new sibling.

One said, “Jamie making Corinne a Grandsister.”

Others weren’t so convinced that either of them were actually happy about having a new family member

One wrote, “No way she’s happy that her father is having a baby at 58 years old.”

Another typed, “Irresponsible to have a kid at that age knowing they’ll never have a real sibling bond and u gonna be 76 at their HS graduation if you’re lucky to make it there.”

Someone else who agreed said, “Dealing wit a teenager in your 70’s is insane!!!”

The exact details of how Foxx met Huckstepp are not clear, but reportedly they were first spotted together in 2022 on a yacht in France. It is reported that she is a fitness instructor from Australia.

Foxx disappeared from the limelight when he experienced a near-fatal brain bleed in 2023. It took him months to heal, but he has since been back outside and enjoying life.

He was spotted with Huckstepp multiple times over the last few years, even after his frivolous vow that he was done dating white women — which he said in his 2024 Netflix comedy special “What Had Happened Was…”

It’s not clear how Huckstepp feels about welcoming a child with Foxx or if this is her first child.

She lives an even more private life than her “Miami Vice” boyfriend and does not have a public social media page.

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
