‘He’s Got All The Money’: Fans React to Reports That the Mothers of Nick Cannon’s Children are ‘Struggling’ After Brie Tiesi Shares Her Recent Battle

Nick Cannon‘s children and relationships keep him in the headlines daily. The host and comedian has nine kids and announced his 10th at the end of August. Since then, he’s been catching all the backlash after fans speculated his children’s mothers were struggling to receive financial support.

Brie Tiesi, the mother of his 4-month old son, Legendary Love, shared an Instagram video explaining that she had been unable to sleep for days due to her baby teething. The “Selling Sunset” star felt attacked after fans suggested Cannon pay for a night nurse. She said, “Nick is not my sugar daddy,” but the ridicule and criticism did not stop there.

On Tuesday, Sept. 27, media strategist April Reign, who crafted the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite, went on a rant about the “Wild N’ Out” host. She called him out for not fully supporting his children’s mothers financially.

“Nick Cannon having all these babies and baby mamas and not setting them up for success… is telling,” she tweeted. “They should have doulas, night nurses, personal chefs, etc for AT LEAST a month or two. He’s got all that money. Why are these women struggling? Unless…”

She continued in another tweet, “Community p— and not even a Blue Apron gift card after that baby is born. Make it make sense.”

Many questioned if the mothers were struggling with a father who made millions from his comedic endeavors in television, music and film. “Wait…they struggling?!” wrote one fan. “I haven’t kept up with his mess but I would have assumed they were all in some first class compound with all the amenities. Yikes.”

Reign responded, “The exact opposite. One was complaining that she’s been up 72 hours straight & got pissed when someone suggested that Nick get her a night nurse. Another was back at work less than a month after the delivery. There’s single moms, and then there’s Nick Cannon’s single moms.”

Many spoke up in Cannon’s defense, recalling that he’s publicly admitted he has children with women who can financially support the kids themselves.

“If I’m not mistaken, I think I remember him mentioning how he chooses women who are financially able to take care of the kids themselves sort of like a vetting process so all of this new info isn’t really surprising,” one individual wrote.

Reign replied, “But can that be true if they’re going back to work less than a month after giving birth? If they can’t afford help?”

In addition to Legendary, Cannon is a father of nine, including his 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He has a set of 1-year-old twin boys, Zillion and Zion, with Abby De La Rose and they have another baby on the way, a daughter, Onyx Ice, whom he welcomed this month with LaNisa Nicole. He also shares two children with Brittany Bell and they are also expecting their third child, which will make 10.

Cannon also fathered a son named Zen with model Alyssa Scott. Zen passed away last December at five months old from a brain cancer diagnosis.
