After three years of marriage, Zampino and Smith divorced in 1995. The former duo has maintained a friendship and cordial co-parenting relationship when it comes to their son, Trey Smith, 29. Two years after the divorce, the Oscar-winning actor walked down the aisle again to Pinkett Smith. They share two children, a son, Jaden, 24, and a daughter, Willow, 21. Zampino enjoys their blended family, but she cautiously reminds herself to never “blur lines” with the second wife.

“You have to keep the main thing the main thing, and those are our children. It’s about making it work for their well-being,” said the boutique owner, who supports their co-parenting system, which she says consists of “grace, love, and respect.”

She added, “We’re family, and we’re at functions. But Jada and I don’t go to happy hour and hang out.”

Zampino said she was open to doing a cameo with the “Matrix” star if she becomes a full-time cast member of “RHOBH.” “You can never say never, ” she teased.

Zampino and Pinkett Smith previously opened up about their challenges and their pasts with the “Independence Day” star during a 2018 episode of “Red Table Talk, hosted by Pinkett Smithand her mom and daughter. While the “Hollywood Exes” star settles into a new reality series, Smith and his wife are returning to what was normalcy following the Oscars incident in March. The married couple stepped out for a casual day reportedly for the first time since the 2022 Oscars night. Page Six also spotted the Smiths walking hand in hand or shirt in hand. Jada held her wallet and phone in one hand while maneuvering her hand up her husband’s polo shirt.

During the 2022 Oscars, moments after the “King Richard” star picked up his first Oscar Award, he surprisingly walked on stage and slapped Chris Rock across the face for making a joke about the movie “G.I. Jane” and his wife’s bald head. The 50-year-old suffers from alopecia and has publicly spoken about her struggle over the years. Smith has issued countless apologies for his actions via social media to the comedian and the Academy Awards, which ultimately banned him from all Oscars-related events for 10 years.
