‘She’ll Say You’re Taunting Her’: Nene Leakes Responds to Accusations Her Current Boyfriend Is a Husband She Stole from Woman Who’s Suing Her

Nene Leakes is no thief, or so the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is claiming after being sued by her boyfriend’s wife, Melamine Tehmeh-Sioh.

Leakes addresses the accusation during an Instagram Live Stream session according to media outlet TMZ, which initially broke the news about the lawsuit. The 54-year-old star encouraged listeners to “show each other a little more love.”

“I’m already out here a husband stealer, and this is too much. And ain’t nobody out here stealing husbands. Are they? I would never,” She said before adding, “Nobody wants to steal nobody else’s problems, honey.”

In legal documents obtained by the outlet, Tehmeh-Sioh, the wife of Leakes’ current beau Nyonisela Sioh, claims that the veteran television personality was dating her husband. He was still legally at that time married to her, and she blamed the star for ultimately breaking up her marriage.

She argued that Leakes’ social media posts — many of which feature her estranged husband — caused her emotional distress, humiliation, and even loss of affection for Sioh. Tehmeh-Sioh is reportedly seeking over $100,000 in damages for the demise of her marriage, which is a remedy permitted under North Carolina law.

The state is one of seven in the country that allows an individual to sue their spouse’s extramarital partner for “alienation of affection.”

The comment comes just days after Leakes took to her social media page to post a video of herself seemingly unbothered by Tehmeh-Sioh’s allegations. She was spotted driving around with Sioh by her side as Muni Long’s smash hit “Hrs & Hrs” (pronounced hours and hours) played in the background.

Of course, fans had plenty to say, many of whom condemned Leakes’ behavior, including an Instagram user who wrote, “Nene needs to take her own advice bc wow.”

The comment alluded to the star’s remarks during the reunion for season one of “RHOA,” in which she told Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who at the time was dating a legally wedded man, to “close your legs to married men.”

Another person commented, “Only if you know about those tables you would stop with the funny stuff.”

“Nene ehhhhhhhh. This video may be used to build that lady’s case. She’ll say you’re taunting her now,” cautioned a third critic.

Leakes began dating the Liberian businessman three months after the passing of her late husband, Gregg Leakes. The reality star and her new boo became Instagram-official in December 2021. However, it’s still unclear whether Sioh is legally separated from his estranged wife.
