Ciara and Russell Wilson hosted a dinner for their “Dream Big: Anything is Possible” initiative over the weekend.
The initiative was launched four years ago as part of their nonprofit, the Why Not You Foundation. The foundation is committed to fighting poverty through education and empowering youth to lead with a “why not you” attitude. It also offers students access to equal educational opportunities, children’s health and food security initiatives.
The entrepreneurial duo got glammed up to help raise funds to support the College Success Foundation, and the foundation’s Why Not You Academy, which launched in Fall 2020. On Monday, May 23, the “Goodies” singer decided to share two videos from the couple’s big night on her Instagram story. The Shade Room reposted both videos, one of which finds Ciara and Russell singing along to Keith Sweat‘s song “Nobody.”
“Russell wanna be a singer so bad. They cute tho,” wrote one social media user in the comments. Another said, “One thing about Russell, he’s gonna harmonize with his wife.”
The second video shows the couple dancing, but fans focused less on the Grammy-winning singer and dancer and more on her husband’s fancy footwork.
“Russ got the smoothest two step ever. I love it.”
“I love them together. Uncle Russ in the back doing his dancey-dance.”
“They don’t like em like us no more Russ.”
“Love them both and even more together.”
Meanwhile, others felt Wilson should stick to his job as the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks, including one who said, “His a-s need to be on the field getting better.”
Dozens commended Ciara for showcasing one of the many loving and fun-filled moments she prayed for before she wed the NFL star in 2016.
“If he considered lame then baby I’m lame asf cuz me and my girl doing all this,” said one person. Another wrote, “Who else hears ‘wheres my Russelllllll’ echo in their head after watching them?”
One person said, “If they don’t do nothing else they gonna show us how happy they are.”
The Wilsons regularly go viral for sharing footage from their outings, but fans were shocked after Wilson sang “And I” alongside his wife last month. Some believe Ciara is the creative culprit behind their viral videos. “Idc what nobody says, CiCi definitely gives Russ urban quizzes at home so he doesn’t look lost when they do videos like this,” wrote one individual.
