Jamie Foxx Goes Viral with ‘Incredible Impression’ of Dave Chappelle Following Comedian’s Attack

Jamie Foxx had fans rolling on May 5, after a clip of the actor doing an impression of his friend Dave Chappelle went viral on social media. Foxx’s Chappelle impression includes the comedian talking about being jumped while on stage. The 48-year-old was attacked on May 3, during the “Netflix Is A Joke Festival” at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Chappelle was attacked by 23-year-old Isaiah Lee, who had a weapon described as a “replica handgun-slash-knife” inside his backpack. Lee was apprehended before being arrested and sent away in an ambulance. Foxx joined the comedian shortly after and Chris Rock, who had performed earlier in the evening, later quipped on stage, “Was that Will Smith?” Foxx was also on hand to assist Chappelle and was later recorded doing his impression of the comedian.

Chappelle said onstage afterward that Foxx, Rock, comedian Jon Stewart and Busta Rhymes took Lee down backstage, but later clarified he was joking.
