Ayesha and Steph Curry may have a future chef in the making.
The couple’s 9-year-old daughter Riley Curry shocked fans after showing off her cooking skills as she prepped dinner for her entire family.
The clip, which was shared last week on Ayesha’s Instagram account, starts with Riley telling her mother the dish she is making. As she battered the chicken in flour before frying it, the eldest Curry child said, “I am making a chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and honey-roasted carrots.”
As the video continued, Ayesha gave fans a glimpse of the cooking process, while cheering Riley on in the background. She said, “This is her first batch. Chef, what in the world. It’s looking real good girl!”
Riley quipped back to Ayesha, who made a living as a cookbook author and television personality, “I learned from the best.” The recording ended with Ayesha showing off the final product, which consisted of chicken, fried fish, mashed potatoes and honey-roasted carrots, as Riley poured sparkling grape juice for her family members.
As fans viewed the viral post, many praised both Ayesha and Riley. The comments ranged from many raving over Ayesha’s parenting abilities and the bond with her daughter to others expressing how amazing Riley is for learning to cook at an early age.
