‘Hey Ms. Nicki Parker’: Mo’Nique’s New Look Has Fans Bringing Up Her Character from ‘The Parkers’ 

Mo’Nique has graced millions of screens over the years since hitting the entertainment industry in the late 1990s. The actress first witnessed a claim to fame for her role as Nicole “Nikki” Parker in “Moesha” and its spinoff “The Parkers.”

“The Parkers,” which aired on the UPN network from 1999 to 2004, followed the lives of Nikki Parker and her daughter Kim Parker, played by Countess Vaughn, as they attended Santa Monica College. On March 30, Mo’Nique had fans reminiscing over her iconic role in the sitcom after debuting a new look.

In the post shared on the comedian’s TikTok and Instagram accounts, she is seen sporting a camouflage ensemble with a jean jacket in what appears to be her dressing room, while Kanye West’s “Praise God” plays in the background. The clip continues with Mo’Nique placing her hand in front of the camera. 

As she removes her hand, the video then transitions to another scene of Mo’Nique reappearing in the frame. This time, the 54-year-old is wearing a long-sleeved black dress and a downward hairdo. The recording ends with Mo’Nique walking off camera. 

The “Precious” star informed her followers about her upcoming show in Staten Island. She wrote, STATEN ISLAND HERE I COME!!!! Hey my sweet babies APRIL 1st SAINT GEORGE THEATER. So excited to come LAUGH with y’all!! I LOVE US 4REAL.”

As fans viewed Mo’Nique’s upload, many praised the star for her good looks while addressing her as Nikki Parker.

“Ok then Ms. Parker.”

“Nikki Parker. Nikki Parker. Hey Ms.Nikki Parker.”

“You been killing the hair game since Ms.Parker!!!”

“Taking me back to Nikki Parker with that hair. You better work aunty.”

Among the Nikki Parker remarks, others mentioned how they couldn’t wait to see Mo’Nique acting again. One wrote while mentioning 50 Cent’s stance on helping Mo’Nique return to acting after allegedly being blackballed from the industry, “Sista girl, we are so ready for your return. So thankful for Curtis speaking truth about your return. Now, let’s bring it to fruition!!!!”

Another said, “When will you be back on big screen we miss you just do your own stuff put it out it can work!!”
